Transitioning the Bar

Most lawyers in practice today never learned about transgender law while in school. TLC provides, and participates in, continuing legal education courses that bring participating attorneys up to speed on cutting edge issues pertaining to transgender clients. Currently, we offer an overview course on transgender law as well as an elimination of bias course on creating safe workplaces for transgender attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and other legal professionals. You can find out more information about having TLC provide a CLE for your organization, firm, or association here. Along with these courses, TLC creates practice materials that explain the current state of the law to attorneys and provide guidance on handling particular issues.
